Read MoreWorking on new stuff here on the site! For example, this snippets thing. I hope that having a place to write a little shorter (but still quite long) form content will let me put more stuff on the blog in my free time. I'll probably use this to discuss projects and other things going on in my world. For example:
- Got accepted into the summer scholars program to work on Localify
- Slowly migrating Deno Deploy Classic projects. Wish they did this automatically!
- Messing with alternative source control like pijul or darcs. Thinking about how humans interact with software in a collaborative sense, and how they visualize source histories. What is the best metaphor for this and how can we make it better?
- Using things that are cool and written in go, like Bubbletea for the TUI I'm writing this post in now, and thinking about Hugo as an alternative in case the Eleventy/Build Awesome transition goes sour.
- Reading articles on my Barnes & Noble Nook, which I opened up the Android layer on and just use my normal Firefox. So nice.
That's all! Hope you've enjoyed this brief insight into what's up with me. Catch y'all later.
